Job Description

Position Purpose & Expectations:
Olympia Gymnastics Home Office in Maryland Heights, MO has an opportunity for a part-time (with the potential to become full-time) Accounting & Payroll Assistant. This position will primarily provide direct assistance to our Corporate Administrators with daily tasks related to general bookkeeping, data entry, record keeping, and payroll administration for the Company. This is an opportunity to learn our organization, find the best alignment of skillsets to business needs, and determine the best fit for a potential full-time position. The position is an office position based in the Home Office located at 2675 Metro Blvd., Maryland Heights, Mo. Potential duties can include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with payroll preparation and processing in ADP.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining employee information in ADP.
  • Assist with preparation of various reports.
  • Assist with data entry duties in QuickBooks.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
  • High school diploma required.
  • College degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Experience:
  • Must have solid understanding and previous experience in bookkeeping and/or payroll administration and software systems.
  • Must have outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have current knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google office software.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Moderate to Advanced Computer Skills, including Excel.
  • Moderate Business Math.
  • General knowledge of and proficient experience in QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred.
  • Strong accuracy data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protection of sensitive financial and payroll information.
  • General knowledge of and experience in ADP or other payroll platforms helpful.
  • General Human Resource laws, guidelines, and policies; particularly as pertains to payroll and benefits also helpful.
