Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing for our organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience, with a strong background in tax withholdings, garnishments, and regulatory compliance. This position ensures timely and accurate payroll processing while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to local, state, and federal regulation Responsibilities Process bi-weekly, monthly, and incentive payrolls for salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain payroll records and ensure employee data is up to date in the payroll system Verify time sheets, work with managers to resolve missing punches, inaccuracies, approvals and discrepancies Calculate and verify deductions for federal, state, and local taxes, insurance, benefits, and retirement contributions Administer wage garnishments, levies, and child support orders in accordance with legal requirements Enter new hires, terminations, deductions, and status changes into the payroll systems Process MS State New Hire and E-Verify Ensure compliance with
FLSA, IRS
regulations, and applicable labor laws Manage the oversight of payroll-related tax documents (e.g., W-2s, 941s, 940s, state filings) accurately and on time Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax information professionally and promptly Respond to employee payroll inquiries Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve issues Support audits by preparing required documentation and maintaining clean, organized payroll records Recommend and implement improvements to payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll administration Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, garnishment processing, and employment law compliance Experience working with payroll systems (e.g., UKG, ADP, Paychex, or similar High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principles a plus Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred, but not required

Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm with a 1-hour lunch
