Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Timekeeping & Payroll Administrator to join our growing home care agency. In this essential role, you will be responsible for managing caregiver timekeeping records, supporting payroll processing, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across all payroll-related functions. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with caregivers and internal staff will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while supporting both administrative efficiency and employee satisfaction. Duties Review and approve caregiver timesheets to ensure accuracy and completeness Audit Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) records, including clock-in and clock-out activity Correct missed punches, incomplete shifts, and time discrepancies Verify visit documentation to ensure payroll accuracy Track overtime, travel time, and mileage in accordance with company policies Prepare payroll data for processing, including entering adjustments as needed Review payroll reports to identify and resolve errors Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation Communicate with caregivers and schedulers to resolve timekeeping issues Respond to caregiver payroll-related questions in a professional manner Assist with onboarding paperwork and employment documentation as needed Generate reports using scheduling and payroll systems Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and confidentiality standards Experience 1-2 years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, administrative support, or staffing environments Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience maintaining confidential employee information with professionalism Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, email, and standard office software Ability to work independently and remain organized Preferred Experience Experience in home care, healthcare, or staffing industries Familiarity with caregiver payroll processes and labor regulations Experience with scheduling systems and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Software Experience (Highly Preferred) AxisCare Mobile Caregiver EVV systems Home care scheduling platforms Schedule & Compensation Part-time, approximately 25-30 hours per week Flexible weekday schedule, with availability required on key payroll days (Mondays and Fridays) In-office position
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility Additional Information Background check required Must be authorized to work in the United States Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality standards is required
