Job Responsibilities:
Assists with the pre-processing payroll steps, such as data collection, data conversion and report validations. Works closely with the other payroll processors and leaders in support of the weekly, biweekly, and/or monthly payroll submission and processing, ensuring data input is completed accurately and timely. Performs office functions such as electronic and/or paper filing, records management, mail distribution and other duties as assigned. Performs routine and non-routine data retrieval, research, analysis, and reporting from payroll records as needed. Responds to simple employee inquiries. Works closely with other HR and Finance COE's as required. With limited supervision, supports the pre-processing payroll steps, including the collection, formatting and sending of the payroll files to the payroll vendor/system, in accordance with the payroll calendar deadlines. Supports low to medium complexity employee queries by partnering with the business, vendors, and HR COE's as required. Manages daily HR People Services cases for employee, legal, employee relations and outside agency inquiries to ensure timely responses. Supports editing desk side procedure documents to ensure accuracy and timely updates. Completes monthly payroll metrics. Assists with Internal and External Audits, and SOX controls testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Graduate/Certificate 1 year Payroll Processing and/or Time to Pay experience in an office environment. 3 months AI, analytical or automation tools 1 year experience in assisting with Payroll or HR projects
Additional Job Standards:
Proficiency in MS Office Products specifically Teams, Excel and Word; experience with automation tools preferred. Proficiency in English verbal and written communication; proficiency in other languages preferred. Good understanding of Payroll end-to-end process, payroll systems and Payroll Compliance. Proficiency in payroll processing and reporting and payroll systems; good understanding of global HCM systems. Ability to analyze standard payroll reports of medium complexity and identify discrepancies. Good organizational and time management skills.
