Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Camden, New Jersey. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll processing and tax compliance. Responsibilities:
- Handle full-cycle payroll processing for 101-500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage multi-state payroll operations, adhering to varying state-specific regulations.
- Calculate, file, and reconcile payroll taxes in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll and maintain employee records.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and accurate information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all payroll activities.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
- Conduct regular audits to verify payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments. Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and tax administration.
- Proficiency in handling full-cycle payroll for medium-sized organizations (101-500 employees).
- Experience managing multi-state payroll operations.
- Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for addressing employee and team inquiries.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
