Beyond core processing, you'll play a key role in payroll reporting, benefits program administration, and leave coordination β€” making this a well-rounded, high-impact position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. ✦ Key Responsibilities Process and maintain semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations Update and assist managers with timesheet entries and navigate multi-tax payroll systems Prepare and distribute detailed payroll reports to internal departments and auditors as needed Maintain and administer employee benefits programs, advising staff on taxable vs. non-taxable components Provide schedules for taxable benefit processing dates and amounts Monitor and assist with leave administration including FMLA, STD, NYSPFL, and ADA reporting Review and manage database files that generate job and pay adjustments Support team members on collaborative projects and perform additional payroll duties as needed ✦ What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred (candidates in their final year are encouraged to apply) Prior experience in a high-volume, multi-tax payroll environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to work under pressure and meet strict payroll deadlines Strong communicator who works well both independently and as part of a team EB-1208454921
