We are partnering with our client to identify a Senior Payroll Analyst who will take ownership of complex payroll operations while helping shape more efficient and reliable processes. This position combines technical execution, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship, making it well suited for someone who not only understands payroll in depth but also looks for ways to improve how it is delivered across the organization. Responsibilities Process payroll across multiple cycles, ensuring accuracy for complex earnings, deductions, and adjustments Perform detailed payroll reconciliations and support reporting requirements Support administration and configuration of payroll systems including ADP Maintain clear documentation of payroll procedures, policies, and workflows Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Serve as a backup resource to the Payroll Lead and support day-to-day payroll operations Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Provide guidance and mentorship to payroll team members on systems and best practices Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams to resolve payroll-related questions and issues Education Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Experience Five to ten years of progressive payroll experience Advanced experience with payroll systems; ADP preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Strong understanding of payroll regulations at federal, state, and local levels Advanced analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies High level of accuracy and attention to detail in high-volume environments Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills preferred Experience using automation or AI tools to improve payroll processes is a plus
