This community-focused team is seeking a collaborative Payroll Specialist to help oversee accurate, timely payroll processing across two states.
YOUR NEW ROLE
#2 As Payroll Specialist, you'll be responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll for multiple employee groups using ADP Workforce Now, responding to employee and manager payroll-related questions, and auditing and correcting timecards, payroll data, and reports. You'll also partner with HR on employee updates and records, assist with journal entries and year-end payroll activities, and support benefits reconciliation and employment verifications. Success in this role requires someone detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, who can handle confidential information with care. This is a fully on-site role at our client's downtown Portland office. Here, you'll work a three month contract, and those who are eligible will be converted into a permanent full-time position.
