About the
Job:
As the Payroll Coordinator you will be able to exercise discretion and independent judgement while managing and evaluating all incoming payroll information to enable proper decisions and actions are completed accurately and timely, as well as being responsible for providing analytical and research support for account reconciliations and problem resolutions. This position will research, test, and implement required changes related to system updates, process, and policy changes, maintains employee data in the appropriate systems and coordinates complex issues with the Associate Manager, Payroll as needed. Work closely with IT, Compensation, Benefits and external vendors to ensure the execution of our deliverables is best in class. Who is Yum! Brands? Salary Range:
$60,200- 70,500 + bonus eligibility.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience Analytical & problem-solving skills with high attention to detail & confidentiality Advance skills for data extraction/manipulation required using various tools such asMicrosoft Excel Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated payroll processing applications (i.e. Oracle, ADP, etc>) and software preferred Excellent organizational, time management and customer services skills Accuracy focused and ability to meet deadlines with frequent interruptions Team-oriented with the capacity/willingness to embrace frequent updates to policies, procedures and technology Ability to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise and escalate to the appropriate level Clear and concise written and verbal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Benefits:

Primary Responsibilities:
Manages the complete multi-system payroll process for multiple Legal entities to ensure accurate and timely completion to finalize payroll for multiple legal entities. This includes analyzing, identifying and resolving out of balance conditions; analyzing, identifying and resolving systemic roadblocks; and preparing finalized biweekly and weekly payrolls for posting to the General Ledger. Prepare, analyze, research, and reconcile payroll reports and documents for accuracy, implementing necessary adjustments or corrections for biweekly and weekly on cycles and daily off cycles. Exercises independent judgement and critical thinking skills to identify, research and implement corrections needed for pay related issues for timely payroll payments. Escalate issues of complex nature to coach for assistance in resolution as necessary. Manages the process for all Payroll SR's and either resolves accordingly or reassigns as needed. Ability and flexibility to adapt to a changing environment supporting multiple pay-cycles, along with collaborating with other teams/departments, including Benefits, IT, control, A/P, etc. Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and instant messaging to educate and accurately answer employee questions. Manages the process for Short Term Disability, Shoes for Crews, Baby Bonding and Maternity Leave, etc. to ensure accurate and timely payments or refunds as needed Analyzes and completes relocation files from vendor for accurate payroll processing.Similar jobs in Louisville, KY
