Schedule:
Flexible, 5-10 hours per week Reports to: HR Director Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Payroll Assistant to support our HR and bookkeeping operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys numbers, organization, and behind‑the‑scenes administrative work. You will help ensure accurate payroll processing for approximately 35 employees , maintain timesheet compliance, and assist with light bookkeeping and invoicing tasks. Key Responsibilities Review and verify weekly employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness Prepare payroll data for processing and coordinate with HR. Track corrections, missing entries, and follow up with staff as needed Maintain payroll records and digital documentation Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoice preparation and data entry Communicate professionally with staff regarding payroll questions or updates Maintain confidentiality of all employee and financial information Requirements Must have your own computer and reliable internet access Proficiency in Excel and Google Docs/Sheets Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills Prior payroll or bookkeeping experience preferred but not required Work Environment Remote work with flexibility Quarterly in‑person meetings at our Newark, DE office Supportive, small‑team environment within a growing therapy organization
