job summary: The Payroll coordinator is responsible for assisting the payroll team with everyday payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This role ensures adherence to policies and procedures and implements best practices for payroll processing.
  • Assist payroll team to process payrolls for all employees', ensuring payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for US & Canada.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy of employee data, wage adjustments, deductions, and benefits.
  • Assist payroll supervisor with reviewing payroll reports, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate benefit and deduction processing.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
  • Ensure confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
  • Assists with special projects as needed.
