As a Senior Payroll Specialist at Donaldson, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, utilizing your expertise in multiple payroll applications for US and Canada. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office.

Role Responsibilities:
Utilize Workday software to process and manage payroll activities efficiently Stay updated on Workday release system enhancements to execute best practices for payroll processing Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly/weekly payroll for all employees Review and verify Workday timekeeping records for accuracy and compliance with company policies Stay current with federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure compliance in payroll processing Analyze and investigate all tax notice discrepancies working with external 3rd party Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for accurate general ledger and money movement entries Timely execution of all executive compensation activity (LTIP, stock, RSUs etc.) Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters with professionalism and confidentiality Work closely with the HR teams to ensure timely execution of business processes seamless integration between HR and payroll functions Possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our employeesMinimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 5+ years of Payroll experience working in a Workday environmentPreferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards Certification in Payroll highly preferred (i.e.FCP/CPP) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience Project Management experience including leading system implementations
Annual Salary Range:
$78,400 - $100,900. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.
