Job Description
- This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home. What you do:
- Prepare, support, analyze, and audit payments for W2 Common Law and Statutory employees, as well as designated categories of 1099 recipients.
- Prepare, validate, load and enter batch and key payroll data into the payroll system to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data and reports before, during, and after payroll runs; identify discrepancies and resolve errors to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Support payroll accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and review of payrollrelated balances for accuracy and compliance.
- Process, analyze, and apply payroll taxes, deductions, liens, and garnishments in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate payroll processing and timely issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated payroll concerns and discrepancies, providing guidance and resolution to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain complete and accurate payroll documentation in accordance with internal standard operating procedures, internal controls, and audit checkpoints.
- Review and audit employeelevel payroll fields and configurations to ensure proper setup, compliance, and accurate pay outcomes.
- Assist with payroll corrections, adjustments, and retroactive changes to employee payment records to ensure accurate employee and employer filings.
- Administer, maintain, and support the Time and Labor Management System, ensuring data integrity, proper configurations, and accurate downstream payroll processing. What you bring:
