Sr Payroll Analyst Responsibilities include:
Processing and reviewing weekly multi‑state payroll using Paylocity. Managing certified payroll reporting for Davis‑Bacon, Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship (PWA), and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) requirements. Editing and validating certified payroll submissions, craft classifications, and apprentice classifications. Investigating and correcting rejected filings to ensure timely resubmission. Partnering with Time & Labor and Operations teams to resolve discrepancies and support prevailing wage projects. Reconciling payroll‑related general ledger accounts and preparing detailed reports for accounting. Developing and maintaining fringe schedules for prevailing wage payroll. Uploading apprenticeship documentation and completing required data entry in client portals, DOL systems, and compliance platforms. Responding to payroll inquiries, wage report requests, and supporting tax reporting and audits. Using advanced Excel skills to build and analyze complex payroll and compliance spreadsheets. What You Bring as a SR Payroll Analyst 5-7 years of payroll experience, including multi‑state processing. Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Direct experience with Certified Payroll, Davis‑Bacon, and Prevailing Wage reporting (required). Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance standards. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Proven ability to meet strict deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
