Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Bluffton, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage payroll operations for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities:

Process and manage full-cycle payroll for a workforce spanning multiple states. Ensure payroll accuracy for over 500 employees while adhering to compliance standards. Utilize ADP Workforce Now to execute payroll operations efficiently. Handle QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for payroll-related financial tasks. Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly. Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and documentation. Prepare reports and summaries for management review. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance. Support audits and provide documentation as needed. Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing. Familiarity with multi-state payroll operations. Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now. Solid understanding of payroll for large organizations with over 500 employees. Experience using QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
