Job Description

HR Additions is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processing and support HR and benefits functions. This role will ensure accurate payroll operations while contributing to onboarding, compliance, and employee support initiatives. This position is located in the Uptown area of Dallas, with a Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote) schedule.
Responsibilities Include:
Process weekly and biweekly payroll (timesheets, accruals, deductions, and employee changes/terminations) Maintain and update payroll data, including garnishments, 401(k), taxes, and other deductions Submit biweekly 401(k) files and assist with quarterly reconciliations Support quarterly and annual tax filings Manage payroll activities within ADP (processing, reporting, data maintenance) Handle employment verifications Support onboarding, including background checks, drug screenings, and DOT compliance (random testing/MVRs) Maintain employee records across payroll, HR, and benefits Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment and invoice reconciliation Partner with internal teams to respond to HR/payroll inquiries Track and manage Paid Time Off (PTO) in ADP Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll/HR regulations Assist with ad hoc HR projects and general administrative support
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree highly preferred 2-5+ years of payroll and HR related experience Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems ( HR Benefits, PayExpert, reporting) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access Strong attention to detail, analytical with excellent communication and organization skills. #INDD
