High SchoolResponsibilities System Migration & Dual-Platform Management:
Manage configuration, earnings, deductions, and retro-calculations across both modern cloud ERP and legacy payroll platforms. Support parallel processing and historical data reconciliation during platform transitions.
Multi-Frequency Execution:
Accurately process multi-state weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly payrolls, ensuring precise calculation of wages, taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
Team Upskilling:
Act as the technical subject matter expert to train, guide, and transition the current payroll team into the updated system environment.
Data Integrity & Time Integration:
Validate and audit inbound data from automated time and attendance platforms, ensuring seamless integration into processing engines.
Compliance & Audit Controls:
Perform rigorous pre•and post-payroll validations, retroactive adjustments, and balancing of payroll registers. Maintain strict adherence to Wage & Hour laws, multi-state tax regulations, and SOX controls.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Collaborate with HR, Benefits, and shared services to ensure payroll accuracy for new hires, terminations, and leave-related pay impacts.
Reporting & Analytics:
Validate GL interfaces and funding reports. Leverage advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and system reporting tools to drive process automation.
