Position Overview This full-time, onsite role supports core accounting operations with a focus on payroll processing and accounts payable. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working across teams to ensure accurate transactions, timely issue resolution, and strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Responsibilities Process U.S. payroll accurately and on time. Research and resolve payroll discrepancies by gathering, reviewing, and analyzing relevant information. Support payroll-related process improvements, automation efforts, and special projects that add value to the organization. Maintain effective internal controls related to payroll operations. Respond to payroll inquiries from employees, HR partners, and vendors by phone and email. Build and maintain productive working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Human Resources. Accounts Payable Responsibilities Perform three-way matching by reconciling invoices to purchase orders and item receipts. Research and resolve invoice, receipt, and purchase order discrepancies. Reconcile vendor statements to the accounts payable ledger. Ensure monthly recurring bills, including utilities, are recorded or accrued in the appropriate accounting period. Complete accounts payable reconciliations accurately and on schedule.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
1+ year of experience in payroll and accounts payable, or equivalent related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with NetSuite is preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Comfort using business software and computer applications to perform daily Responsibilities. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Professional communication skills when interacting with team members, employees, and vendors. High standards of integrity, honesty, and accountability. Dependable, reliable, and committed to fulfilling responsibilities consistently.
