The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees and leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range:

$52,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary Based on Experience Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Career Growth Opportunities Mon-Fri Schedule Hands on Training Vacation Time Paid Holidays Breakfast on Fridays On Us Family Oriented Paid Bad Weather Days Requirements 3+ years of payroll processing experience preferred Experience processing payroll for mid-size to large organizations Strong understanding of payroll laws, wage requirements, and compliance Experience with payroll software (ADP, QuickBooks Workforce, or similar) Strong Excel skills and data analysis abilities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle confidential information professionally Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with commissions, bonuses, and complex pay structures Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities Process biweekly, semi-monthly, or weekly payroll accurately and on schedule Review timekeeping records, attendance, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deductions Verify payroll data and resolve discrepancies before payroll submission Maintain employee payroll files and ensure records are accurate and up to date Assist with onboarding and offboarding payroll-related tasks Process employee changes including pay rates, direct deposits, deductions, and tax updates Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Prepare payroll reports and provide payroll-related data to management Respond to employee payroll questions and provide timely resolutions Coordinate with HR, Accounting, and Operations departments Assist with payroll audits and reporting requirements Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information Support year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and reporting About Us Tarrant Roofing is one of the best roofing companies in the DFW area with an A+ Rating on the BBB.
