Payroll Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Irving, Texas. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will handle various payroll-related tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee pay. Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for each payroll cycle.
• Manage payroll for organizations with staff sizes ranging from 101 to 500 employees.
• Handle garnishment calculations and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Verify timekeeping data and address any inconsistencies with relevant departments.
• Ensure all payroll transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to address payroll-related inquiries.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal and external use.
• Provide support during audits by offering necessary payroll documentation. Requirements
• Proven experience in payroll processing, including full-cycle payroll.
• Familiarity with managing payroll for organizations with 101 to 500 employees.
• Knowledge of garnishment laws and the ability to process garnishments accurately.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and related software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
