In this vital role, you will manage the payroll process utilizing Foundation (A construction accounting software similar to Sage), as well as Foundation's Timekeeping System MaxForce. Ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all employees. Your expertise in payroll management systems and accounting software will help us maintain compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's financial health while supporting our team members through precise payroll administration. Responsibilities Process payroll using systems such as Foundation ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all employees. Foundation Payroll system will handle the tax compliance needs. Communication with office and field crews, Bilingual preferred. Proficient with timekeeping systems like ExakTime and WorkMax. Pulling job hours from timekeeping software as described above, performing accurate data entry of employee hours, wages, deductions, and benefits into payroll and accounting software like Foundation or Quickbooks. Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries related to payroll transactions, including debits & credits and general ledger reconciliation. Assist with some onboarding as needed for employees. Collaborate with HRIS systems to update employee information, process new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status. Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies or errors, ensuring proper account reconciliation. Excellent data entry skills, Microsoft Office (especially Excel) with high accuracy (10 key typing) and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Other Accounting & HR Responsibilities as needed. Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments including human resources and finance teams.
