We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist.
Benefits:
Medical, Dental and Vision Paid Time Off Holidays 401K Duties/Responsibilities Creation and maintenance of active state payroll tax accounts Prepare and process payroll for multiple entities, across several states Manage active recurring deductions such as garnishments, 401k deferrals, medical benefits, etc. Assist in the calculation of commission-based pay Payment of all employee classifications and contractors in a timely manner Audit of current payroll procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines 401k/ IRA deferral payroll uploads Assist with new partnerships Ensure managers are logging time worked compliantly Review processed taxes for accuracy in HRIS Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and leaders Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc. Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive data in a confidential and professional manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience with multi-state, multi-entity payroll.
Required:
Clinical or administrative DENTAL experience
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in related field with 2-4 years' experience or equivalent experience Physical Demands Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
