Job Description

This position reports to the Payroll Manager and will assist with the payroll and labor processes. The following is a list of the payroll function's responsibilities that the Payroll Specialist will assist the Payroll Manager with. 3-5 years of experience using Cost Point Excellent communication and writing skills Exceptional time management and problem resolution skills Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment 3-5 years of experience using ADP 3-5 years of experience using SAP Success Factors Profession in Microsoft Excel Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field None LI-AC1 LI-Remote Maintains payroll and related records, recording the accumulation and use of PTO and miscellaneous other leaves such as military and jury duty. Update benefits and 401(k) employee records in third third-party system. Assist with reconciling semi-monthly and monthly timesheets and maintaining adherence to timekeeping policies. Review and verify timesheets and other payroll documents for accuracy and compliance Assist with the preparation of exception reports. Assist with the reconciliation of costs to payroll files and record costs accurately and to published deadlines. Assists with activities necessary to process semi-monthly payrolls, including maintaining related records, and voluntary deduction reports such as deferred compensation deferrals, processing involuntary deductions, such as preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for senior management. Ensure the confidentiality and security of employee payroll information Provide exceptional customer service and support to employees
