Non Supv)] to join our team. About this Opportunity Reporting to the director of finance, the payroll coordinator is responsible for all payroll, leaves, recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding functions for about 130 employees at KUOW. Due to worker schedules and our two union contracts, a significant number of payroll entries are necessary each payroll cycle. Leaves support with consideration of University, state, and federal policies adds complexity. This position works independently and in collaboration with the director of finance and KUOW and UW human resources personnel. Key Responsibilities Review and troubleshoot timesheet completeness, accuracy, and on-time submission for all employees (55%) Make Workday entries for hires, FTE changes, costing allocations, salary changes, departures, etc. (15%) Support employees on leave by answering questions and providing technical help (5%) Identify errors and steward corrections for holidays and other time off entries, as well as under- and over-payments (5%) Enter one-time payments as appropriate (5%) Support hiring and offboarding processes (5%) Maintain internal documentation (3%) Thorough knowledge and communication of relevant policies (2%) Other duties as assigned (5%) Required Qualifications To be considered for this opportunity your application must demonstrate you meet both the minimum qualifications and additional qualifications listed below. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration. Minimum Qualifications Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be forwarded to the Hiring Manager. High School diploma or GED certificate and two years of office/clerical experience including at least six months of experience in a human resources or related setting.
