Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Payroll Tax & Banking Specialist to join our payroll team. In this pivotal role, you will manage payroll tax processes, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and support the accurate processing of payroll data and banking information for our clients. Your expertise will help streamline payroll operations and efficiencies and maintain precise records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization committed to excellence in payroll management and client services. Duties Assist in preparing and filing a variety of local, state and federal payroll tax forms and payments Assist with quarter and year-end payroll filings Research payroll tax variances Troubleshoot and assist in resolution of tax filing issues Assist with uploading daily ACH files to the bank Prepare, create, and export reports/documents in Excel and Word Ability to process payrolls for our clients Assist with client implementation banking and tax set up Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience Knowledge of payroll principals, practices, regulations and procedures Knowledge of current federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations a plus Multi-state payroll experience is a plus UKG Ready experience is a plus Strong math and computer skills; including knowledge in Excel Professional, self-motivated and positive attitude Well-organized and detail-oriented Ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal, communication skills and relationship skills Works well individually and with a team Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
