This position also assists with wire processing and maintains branch procedures to support accurate, efficient, and compliant operations. Additional responsibilities include audit and certification reviews, client record maintenance, operational reporting, and other branch support activities. As needed, this individual may provide lobby and teller support to ensure excellent client service and smooth branch operations. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, process information accurately and efficiently, and deliver an exceptional client experience. The Branch Operations Specialist is expected to maintain a professional image through appearance, conduct, and communication. This position is responsible for following Bank security procedures and ensuring compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations. The Branch Operations Specialist also supports the Bank's commitment to strong operational controls by assisting with internal and external audits, examinations, and corrective action efforts as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy while supporting both branch staff and operational excellence. Primary duties include but not limited to:
- Perform quality reviews of new account openings and documentation.
- Track and communicate operational exceptions to management.
- Maintain accurate client records and account maintenance requests.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing wire processing.
- Reconcile teller cash, vault cash, ATM, and TCR balances.
- Complete monthly cash counts and transaction reviews.
- Coordinate and assist with branch audits and security controls.
- Assist with annual security training and compliance activities.
- Complete operational reports, callbacks, certifications, and documentation reviews.
- Create, update, and maintain branch procedures.
- Identify and report suspicious activity in accordance with BSA/AML requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and Bank information.
- Provide professional client service and assist with teller/lobby coverage as needed.

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in providing client support in the financial services industry, retail sales, service or banking-related fields.
- 3+ years of experience as a Universal Banker or equivalent. A minimum of 12 months of new accounts or relevant banking experience is desired.
- Fraud detection and prevention experience is preferred
- Experience in Jack Henry products/programs, specifically Jack Henry Silverlake - Onboard Deposit and Silverlake Teller is preferred.
