Job Description:
Role Description Loyal Trust Bank is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our team. This role combines responsibilities from traditional banking roles, including teller, customer service, and sales, to provide a seamless and personalized banking experience for our clients. The Universal Banker will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, handling a wide range of transactions, addressing inquiries, and promoting banking products and services to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service Excellence :
Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide tailored solutions, ensuring a positive banking experience.
Transaction Processing :
Accurately process a variety of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, while adhering to bank policies and procedures.
Product Sales and Referrals :
Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services, such as savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and digital banking solutions, to meet sales goals.
Account Management :
Assist customers with account openings, closings, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Problem Resolution :
Address and resolve customer inquiries or issues promptly, escalating complex matters to appropriate personnel when necessary.
Cash Handling :
Perform daily balancing and follow security protocols for cash and negotiable instruments.
Relationship Building :
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and trust in Loyal Trust Bank's services.
Compliance and Risk Management :
Adhere to all banking regulations, policies, and procedures, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines.
Team Collaboration :
Work closely with branch team members to achieve branch goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in banking, retail, or customer service; prior teller or sales experience is a plus. Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse customers. Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking software. Excellent sales and relationship-building abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Korean and/or Chinese speakers preferred
Availability :
Flexibility to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds (e.g., coin bags or cash boxes). Comfort with frequent interaction with customers in a professional setting.
