Job Description

Job Summary The Treasury Management Personal Banker works with internal and external customers related to retail and treasury management products and services. The Treasury Management Personal Banker is responsible for developing a positive rapport with the customer base, performing accurate and efficient financial transactions, and providing resolutions to customer requests. This position is responsible for opening new accounts and cross selling additional products and services in an effort to grow and retain customer relationships. Duties Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers. Opens and performs maintenance on accounts and services for retail and treasury management products. Performs transactional and other branch related functions as assigned. Provides customer support for all treasury management and retail products for internal and external customers Performs account and product setups and maintenance within applicable applications Completes treasury management and new account agreements and documentation Performs application troubleshooting for internal and external customers Coordinates and executes remote and in person customer onboarding Performs quality control reviews and research errors and discrepancies; makes corrections in conjunction with internal departments and conducts customer correspondence as appropriate. Responds to all customer issues with professionalism and directs complex appropriately for resolution. Promotes and cross-sells the Bank's products and services to new and existing clients, assuring proper referrals with the appropriate business partner. Proactively expands knowledge and expertise on Bank products and services. Maintains customer confidence and protects Bank and customer confidentiality May assist with the training of new retail and/or treasury management staff May complete full treasury management relationship reviews to identify additional opportunities May complete treasury management proposals and presentations to be delivered by the sales team May participate in the maintenance of treasury management or retail related applications Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Minimum of 3 years of retail banking or 1-3 years of treasury management experience is required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Understanding of retail banking regulations and NACHA rules Knowledge of bank products and services Ability to ensure timely and thorough customer service in a courteous manner Ability to work with all areas of the bank to provide world-class service Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with customers' financial records and personal information Familiarity with legal documents and Treasury Management agreements Excellent working knowledge of computer applications including all Microsoft office products Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to make sound decisions; making on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions; weighing customer satisfaction issues with the Bank's exposure to loss or fraud and the ability to think through and rationalize decisions. Understanding of web-based software applicati0ns Ability to prioritize and work within deadlines Ability to follow all Bank safety and security policies and procedures Comprehensive mathematical skills is required. Strong communication and organizational skills; Demonstrated sensitivity to the Bank's needs, customer and employee goodwill, and the public image. Positive, collaborative, and effective interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate equipment, and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to talk and hear; frequently required to stand and walk. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, and crawl. Occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 25 pounds.
