GENERAL SUMMARY
Provide supervision for Banking Services Department. Ensure that the quality and timeliness of branches request are met. Performs duties of the Department as needed. Is responsible for workflow, and completion of duties of the department. Assist internal and external customers as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Provides telephone customer service and support for external and internal customers regarding inquires and problem resolution. Follows up to verify items have been resolved in a timely manner. Supervises, trains, and assists all areas of Banking Services Department. Oversees that work is completed on time and is correct. Schedules duties. Assists with annual reviews, hiring and terminations. Performs duties of Senior Banking Services representative when required. Works with Quality Control Officer and Compliance Officer on audit and compliance issues. Reviews and tests Banking Services and Mail Center procedures with staff. Works with merger consolidations and D-conversions Coordinates with PDS on EIM processing and ATM issues. Provides support in ATM, card services including debit card programs, debit card rewards, merchant card processing programs, and other card related programs offered, as needed. Works with budget and employee expenses. Other duties as assigned by management. Regular and reliable attendance. Regularly exercising independent judgement and discretion over matters of significance. Communicate effectively in-person and otherwise with all coworkers and customers, both during regular business hours and before and after regular business hours, if necessary. Effective communication and collaboration are essential for this role. While remote work may be available periodically, there are times when being in the office is necessary to maintain our collaborative efforts. Therefore, this position cannot be primarily performed remotely.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of FiServ preferred. Knowledge of Windows based programs preferred. Skills in good customer service and telephone courtesy. Ability to operate a PC with keyboard accuracy and speed. Ability to work under pressure, meet critical deadlines and have constant interruptions while doing assigned responsibilities including reconcilement, verification and computer input.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
: High School or equivalent. Two years' Bank operations experience is required. Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred. Supervisor must have prior experience in all levels of Banking Services and be familiar with integration of all deposit accounts.
