Full Job Description Job Description Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing daily deposit operations activities, providing subject matter expertise, scheduling, mentoring and serving as the lead for the Deposit Operations team. This role ensures accurate, compliant, and timely processing of deposit-related functions while supporting staff, resolving complex issues, and helping drive operational efficiency and service excellence across the bank. Provides secure, accurate, responsive, and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers while maintaining strict confidentiality of customer and banking relationships. Primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals.
Essential Job Functions:
Serves as a lead resource and day-to-day support for Deposit Operations staff. This includes but is not limited to providing guidance, training, and mentoring for the team. Assists the Deposit Operations Manager with workflow coordination, balancing and process oversight. This role serves as a key customer impact resolution escalation specialist, including - account history corrections and error resolution correspondence. Partners with Bank Operation management to develop ongoing opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk and enhance service within the Bank Operations division, ensuring compliance with all banking regulations. Monitor and review contact center analytic reports for maintaining established service level standards, as well as ongoing call playback reviews for excellent customer service standards, and to ensure SLA's are being achieved.
Other Functions:
Daily approval of cross-application batch edits. Assistant Systems Administrator for unlocking users in TIB Gateway, AVS, and SSA. Weekly review of time edits. Create and monitor department schedule, including scheduled WFH days. Assist with new employee search, as well as the interview process for potential new hires. Research any GL or DDA outages, workflow faults, or other complex research issues. Provide requested material and information on audit and exam request for Deposit Operations. Other duties as requested by their supervisor or other management representatives of the bank.
Job Requirements Qualification Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor's business degree preferred. Three to five years previous Deposit Operations experience or the equivalent required. Must demonstrate the ability to lead others with compassion and understanding, promoting a positive work environment. Proficient use of computers and knowledge of Excel, Word, and banking software required. Excellent customer service skills a must. Must be multi-task oriented and meet deadlines. Must be efficient, accurate, and have excellent attention to detail. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality. Knowledge of basic math calculations. Ability to read and understand regulations. Must comply with all bank policies and procedures that are job related and/or consistent with business necessity.
General Physical Demands and Workplace Conditions:
Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull or otherwise move objects within the immediate workstation. Must be able to walk, sit or stand frequently, up to 50% of the time. Must be able to tolerate encounters with coworkers and customers under the following conditions: atmospheric pollutants or allergens, including but not limited to fumes, odors, dust, poor ventilation; changes in indoor/outdoor temperatures encountered in travel between buildings and branches. Other physical attributes required to successfully perform the essential functions above include finger agility, talking, and listening.
