This personal banker will establish new and increase existing customer account relationships through referrals of commercial and other line of business products and services. This person will proactively engage customers in conversation, assisting with making appropriate product recommendations, opening and servicing basic accounts or referring the customer to a lending officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides remarkable customer service through all customer interactions, opening new accounts, problem resolution, telephone answering, safe deposit access and any other customer service needs.
  • Provides operational service, including but not limited to the following: accepting deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, cashing checks within limits and obtaining further authorization when necessary, issuing money orders, cashier's checks, wire transfers and placing check re-orders.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with co-workers and management.
  • Responsible for following proper policies and procedures when processing transactions to protect the bank from financial loss.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor Degree required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Strong business and finance acumen.
