Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Commercial Support Officer is assisting Commercial Lending, Retail, and Cash Management areas in facilitating new business and servicing existing customer relationships. Responsibilities will vary depending on needs, but will include ensuring the Customer Information Profile ( CIP ) and beneficial owner forms are completed and accurate before submitting paperwork to board a new account; creating electronic folders for new customers and accurately scanning legal / financial documents in a consistent and organized manner; becoming a subject matter expert in Cash Management products and services; make on-site visits to install Remote Deposit Scanners in client offices and train client staff in proper use; general administrative duties including drafting and editing of term sheets as directed by supervisor; working technical exceptions for financial information or documentation; participating in outside calls when requested by supervisor; and in general assisting the production team deliver exceptional customer service.
The incumbent will:
Assist production team in accurately and completely completing the CIP and beneficial ownership forms for new deposit accounts Respond to client phone calls, inquiries and requests regarding accounts within 24 hours Establish and provide training and service programs to orient clients in the operation and maintenance of Cash Management products Coordinate and assist back office personnel in resolving credit problems, delinquent payment issues, overdrafts and other related affairs Handle client requests including but not limited to ordering checks, stop payments, ordering debit cards, ACH transactions, online banking, and remote deposits Answer client questions regarding account balances, and conduct research to resolve problems Prepare wire request forms for submission to the Wire Department Call clients on past due accounts and request payments Work region s daily NSF list, determine if Bank will pay or return items with insufficient funds Demonstrate services and products to prospects, when appropriate, through personal meetings or as part of a coordinated, multi-product sales presentation Serve as liaison between current and potential clients and the Bank to resolve questions regarding Cash Management products and services Attend sales meetings and training as directed Keep abreast of changes which might affect sales in assigned territory Maintain contact with and service key accounts Provide banking solutions to clients by cross-selling appropriate products Assist in preparation of proposals for new and existing customers Visit clients within assigned territory and address servicing problems Ensure completeness and accuracy of loan documentation Responsible for being familiar with all compliance regulations and policies that are applicable to this position and follow and ensure compliance with these regulations and policies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AA
degree preferred Five (5) or more years of related bank experience Fundamental knowledge of branch operation activities, products and services relating to retail and commercial account customers Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Attention to detail Ability to deal with difficult issues involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The physical requirements and environmental conditions of this position consist primarily of: Sustained standing and sitting Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor Occasional presentations requiring public speaking to small groups Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs Normal office environment with comfortable internal temperatures and low level noise EOE/AA
