We are seeking an experienced banking or credit union professional to join our team as a Member Service & Operations Representative. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with members while contributing to the day-to-day operations of a financial institution. Position Summary The Member Service & Operations Representative is responsible for providing exceptional member service while supporting a variety of operational functions, including account maintenance, ACH processing, electronic services, balancing activities, and compliance-related tasks. The successful candidate will demonstrate dependability, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to manage multiple responsibilities while contributing to both frontline and back-office operations. Reliability, professionalism, and a collaborative attitude are essential in our close-knit team environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Member Service Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and other account transactions Open and maintain member accounts Respond to member inquiries in person, by phone, and electronically Assist members with debit cards, online banking, and other electronic services Verify and maintain accurate member records Educate members on credit union products and services that meet their financial needs Operations Process ACH transactions and exception items Assist with debit card administration and electronic services support Research and resolve account discrepancies and transaction exceptions Process stop payments and other operational requests Assist with balancing functions and daily operational reports Support compliance, audit, and record retention activities Maintain accurate records and operational procedures Cross-train in various operational areas to provide coverage and support for team members as needed Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two years of recent banking or credit union experience in a member service, teller, universal banker, or similar financial institution role Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic Strong member service and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality Preferred Credit union experience Experience opening and servicing deposit accounts Experience with ACH processing Experience with debit card services and electronic banking Familiarity with financial institution regulations and compliance requirements Experience balancing transactions and researching discrepancies Compensation & Benefits $21.00 - $25.00 per hour , depending on qualifications and experience Healthcare stipend Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays Dental insurance Vision insurance Short-Term Disability (STD) insurance Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance Life insurance Professional development and training opportunities About Compassionate Care Credit Union Compassionate Care Credit Union proudly serves healthcare professionals and their families by providing personalized financial services and promoting financial wellness. $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
