In this role, you will support patients and their families by clearly explaining financial responsibilities, insurance benefits, and payment options—ensuring a respectful and seamless financial experience. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Gather and accurately input patient demographic and financial information Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations Explain insurance coverage, payment responsibilities, and collect co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay balances Maintain accurate documentation within registration systems Assist patients with financial forms and obtain required signatures Communicate with physicians, payers, and internal teams to ensure accurate account setup Perform cashiering functions and follow financial policies Support pre-registration activities and ensure all required documentation is completed Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications:
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of relevant experience (customer service, financial, or medical office setting) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to multitask and manage priorities under pressure
