Job Description
Position Summary The Self-Pay Collector is responsible for managing patient accounts with outstanding self-pay balances after insurance has processed or when no insurance coverage exists. This position ensures timely collection of patient responsibility amounts, provides excellent customer service, educates patients on their bills, offers financial assistance options, and helps patients set up appropriate payment arrangements consistent with hospital policy.
