POSITION SUMMARY
As a Financial Aid Advisor, you'll play a key role in helping students access the funding they need to achieve their educational goals. You'll guide both prospective and current students through the financial aid process while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Advise students and families on financial aid options, processes, and responsibilities Review applications and documentation to determine eligibility (including FAFSA verification) Process and manage financial aid records, awards, and disbursements Conduct entrance and exit counseling for students Maintain accurate, compliant student files and records Collaborate with admissions and campus teams to support student success Stay current on financial aid regulations and attend relevant training courses
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Comfort handling confidential information Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, internet) Flexible and team-oriented mindset Ability to work a flexible schedule.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
