Job Description:
Private Wealth Analyst Role Overview Top firm within the Northwestern Mutual Private Client Group is looking for a Private Wealth Analyst who will lead and oversee the design, creation and implementation of financial plans for the firm's clients and partner with other departments and team members to ensure the highest standard of client experience and firm operations. They are responsible for servicing clients, developing and overseeing financial plan generation, client meeting case prep and financial plan implementation with a focus on client service, scalability, efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. General Support & Client Service Ensuring Client Relations Team can maintain a full calendar for Advisor(s) with 12-15 client/prospect meetings each week. This may include creating new phone calls for existing OCS contacts or helping with efforts to drive new referrals to the firm. Maintaining client case files and filing performance reports, account forms and other investment advisory paperwork Handling inbound email and phone communications from clients which may include responding directly or delegating to the appropriate department Maintain current industry and regulatory knowledge impacting financial planning operations, and update processes as needed to ensure compliance and best practices Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure the firm is well positioned for continued growth and success by continuously enhancing the client experience, associate development and firm operations Client Meeting Preparation Processing factfinder case notes, assisting with gathering prospect/client financial information (budget, inv. statements, etc.), and preparing the financial plan and recommendations appropriate for the client Oversee the design, building, and implementation of all financial plans, ensuring efficient, accurate and timely execution Assisting with prospecting efforts on behalf of the primary advisor and team for new advisory clients Preparing investment advisory annual review information Preparing and modifying investment policy statement, needs-based analysis or financial plans Running performance reports in appropriate investment systems (Envestnet, Morningstar and NMCIR) Case Management & Client Onboarding Processing planning case notes, and generating opportunity (case), next activity, and appropriate tasks for firm team members. Serving as the primary point-of-contact for clients that are onboarding and coordinating with insurance and investment departments with next steps and action items Participating in client meetings for financial or investment plan development or presentation Maintaining Opportunities dashboard to ensure all have appropriate follow-ups (phone call, task, etc.) and are moving through the sales cycle efficiently Monitoring and following up on asset transfers and on initial and subsequent funding of advisory accounts Identify opportunities to improve the firm's planning management and operations in order to enhance productivity, scale for growth, and ensure a strong client experience; implement or oversee the implementation of these improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred Financial planning credential preferred (CFP, ChFC, etc), including relevant planning software Series 7 & 63 investment licenses required 10+ Years of experience in industry preferred (pertaining to financial planning) Ability to adapt to changing environment and lead change Ability to identify and lead improvements in business processes and best practices Strong use of judgment, analytical skills and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with others Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office 365, financial planning and CRM software experience preferred Results The Private Wealth Analyst will success by accomplishing the following: Business Health Metrics | New business acquisition goals aligned with primary advisor Team Contribution | Help firm accomplish business production metrics for the year Professional Growth | Accomplish two personal development goals for the year Compensation & Benefits We believe in building a team that loves what they do and creating a work environment that supports long-term career growth.
