Job Description
Highly successful medical oncology/hematology group practice seeking an experienced patient financial counselor. Will train the right candidate if limited or no oncology experience. Minimum of 3 years experience working with Medi-cal, Medi-cal HMO's. Duties include but not limited to: Verifying insurance benefits Enrolling patients in patient assistance programs Communicating with patients regarding deductibles and out of pocket responsibilities Other various duties Candidate must be professional, compassionate, able to multitask, eager to learn, work well in a timely manner and able to work in a team environment.
