  • Financial Counselor
  • . This role acts as a navigator for insurance and reimbursement resources, helping uninsured or underinsured families apply for government-sponsored healthcare resources (such as Medi-Cal and California Children's Services) and establishing payment plans.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Help families navigate insurance, reimbursement resources, and government-sponsored healthcare options (Medi-Cal, CCS).
+ Assist families with payment plans and other options to resolve patient account balances. + Partner with internal departments including social work, case management, revenue cycle, and physician billing. + Work under the general supervision of the Lead Financial Counselor and Patient Access Manager.

Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Financial Counselor in a healthcare setting. +
  • Education:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. +
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Medi-Cal, insurance authorizations, and the ability to multitask. +
  • Vaccine Guidelines:
  • Flu vaccine is required (no exemptions).

  • Pay Details:
  • $21.
