Flexible schedule Best work/life balance Unique, once in a lifetime opportunity to directly impact lives Travel to assignments Fantastic support team PRN position - $75/hour We are looking for a Eating Disorder Recovery Specialist who is willing to work in our client's home environment for 15 - 20 hours per week and assist them in creating sustainable recovery systems at home. Coaches will help implement coping skills and help clients create patterns which serve them in a more functional manner at home, at work and in the community.
Responsibilities:
Therapists step into a coaching role : helping a client be proactive and implement the changes they want to see in their homes and lives Processing emotions and issues around recovery in the moment when they are happening Working through triggers in real time and helping clients develop new interests and discover the ways in which life can be enjoyable Assist clients in: creating a schedule, find work or apply for schools, build a solid support network, create and maintain healthy social relationships, and set up/maintain treatment Provide and facilitate conversations between clients and family to help rebuild/repair their relationship Accompany clients to meetings, appointments and recreational activities.
Qualifications:
Master's level counselor - Preferred 2 years of experience working in eating disorder residential treatment Strong background in eating disorder recovery Malpractice insurance Contract position: $75/hour Work onsite - in clients home •Must be located in Washington, DC area•
