Job Summary:
The Transition Support Associate plays a pivotal role in welcoming advisors to our firm. You will be one of the primary points of contact for new advisors, helping them navigate the transition process smoothly and efficiently with a primary focus on moving accounts and assets. This entry-level position is ideal for enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals looking to grow their career in financial services, with a particular focus on utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and becoming an expert on the process of re-papering accounts at various custodians.
Key Responsibilities:
Support advisors in transferring their existing client portfolios to our platform, including extensive use of Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis throughout the process. Manage the re-papering process of their accounts, ensuring all documentation is present, complete, and compliant with regulatory standards. Assist in the training and onboarding of new advisors, focusing on our core technologies, operational processes, and document requirements. Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure a seamless transition experience. Address and resolve any queries or issues that arise during the transition phase.
What We Are Looking For:
Strong team player who is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships quickly. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, formula creation, and spreadsheet management - ability to do v-lookup or x-lookup is a must.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred; focus in Finance, Business, or related field is a plus. Deep familiarity MS Excel. Knowledge of investment account types. Financial certifications (SIE, Series 7) is a plus
