Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Certified Financial Planner (CFP) to manage and grow an established book of affluent clients while delivering comprehensive financial planning and wealth management solutions. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients achieve their financial goals through investment planning, retirement strategies, banking solutions, and relationship management. The ideal candidate combines strong financial planning expertise with business development capabilities, a client-first approach, and the ability to identify opportunities for expanding existing relationships through additional products, services, and referrals. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and retain an existing portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning and discovery meetings to identify client goals and objectives.
  • Develop, present, and implement customized financial plans and wealth management strategies.
  • Analyze client financial information, investment portfolios, cash flow, retirement needs, and risk tolerance.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through investment, deposit, lending, and advisory solutions.
  • Generate referrals and new business opportunities through exceptional client service and relationship management.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial and banking solutions.
  • Utilize financial planning tools and software to create detailed client plans and recommendations.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust strategies as financial circumstances evolve.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and industry standards.
  • Support educational and marketing initiatives, including client events, seminars, and media engagements when needed.
  • Stay current on market trends, investment products, tax considerations, and financial planning strategies. Qualifications
  • Series 65 license required.
  • CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation strongly preferred.
  • CRC designation preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, private banking, or investment advisory services.
  • Experience managing affluent or high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, retirement planning, estate planning, and wealth accumulation strategies.
  • Experience using financial planning software and planning tools.
  • Knowledge of consumer lending and banking products.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple business units. Ideal Candidate Profile
  • CFP professional with a successful track record managing affluent client relationships.
  • Experience growing revenue through client retention, referrals, and cross-selling financial solutions.
  • Strong financial planning and investment advisory expertise.
  • Comfortable discussing individual equities, portfolio construction, and investment strategies.
  • Experience with comprehensive financial plan creation and client presentations.
  • Understanding of individual and business tax planning considerations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business development skills.
  • Experience working within wealth management firms, private banking groups, RIAs, or investment advisory organizations.
  • Proven ability to build long-term trusted client relationships and drive organic growth.
