Part-Time Contract Municipal Finance Advisor (2 Days Per Week)

Part-Time Contract Municipal Finance Advisor (2 Days Per Week) The City is seeking an experienced municipal finance professional to provide part-time contract support for accounting staff, financial process review, and municipal finance operations approximately two days per week.

Primary responsibilities include:

Reviewing municipal accounting and financial processes Assisting accounting staff with training and procedural improvements Supporting budgeting, payroll, and audit functions Assisting with financial reporting and reconciliations Providing guidance on municipal accounting practices and internal controls Supporting compliance with municipal finance and reporting requirements Qualified candidates must have: At least 5 years of municipal accounting or municipal finance experience Strong multi-year experience using desktop accounting systems Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff Experience with Quick Books Desktop Accounting Software is required.

Requirements:

Valid Idaho Driver's License Ability to pass background screening This is a contract position averaging approximately two days per week.

Pay:

$55.00 - $65.00 per hour
