Job Description

The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be responsible for internal sales and relationship development, Registered Investment Advisor channel management, and functioning as a central resource for all internal departments affecting both channel growth and the common client's success. Expectations include partnership and support of the senior external sales partners and maintaining an organized method of tracking key performance indicators and reporting them forward. The successful candidate will maximize client experience, derive a new business pipeline, and contribute to successful opportunities for Manulife John Hancock Investments products.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for promoting a full range of Wealth Management solutions to registered investment advisors (RIA) with industry-leading access to Portfolio Managers and Strategists, providing proactive sales and business building ideas. Establishment of new sales in Manulife John Hancock Investments products. Prospecting and building new relationships are key to this role. Accountable for sales growth and relationship management within a defined region(s). Maintain levels of engagement with RIAs in a specific territory/territories and record all activities using the CRM platform. Achieve aggressive sales targets and annual production goals. Identify and pursue new relationships within the RIAs with AUM levels above $750 million. Provide new ideas to advisors to help them develop business. Learn and present topic relevant presentations and seminars to RIAs and investors. Develop and share ongoing best practices, sales, marketing and business development ideas and strategies with advisors and peers. Participation in the sale of investment products through one or more of the advisor channels.
Required Qualifications:
College or University degree in a related field is required. 3 years Investment Sales experience with extensive and thorough knowledge of Financial Services industry and capital markets is preferred. Ideally with familiarity in advisor practice management. Knowledgeable on the current industry landscape and competitors with an ability to be innovative in sales strategies, marketing concepts, and product applications. Knowledge of Wealth Management products and an understanding of global financial markets. Effective presentation skills and delivery to engage with different audiences. Ability to prioritize, effective time management skills, and ability to schedule time to work on the business. Proven sales acumen, business development, and prospecting aptitude.

Referenced Salary Location Boston, Massachusetts Working Arrangement Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $65,000.00 USD - $108,300.00 USD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
