Job Description

Financial Advisor Brunswick, ME 04011 $95,000
  • $250,000 a year
  • Full-time $95,000
  • $250,000 a year
  • Full-time You want a market of your own — a place where, a few years from now, the retirees in Midcoast Maine who are serious about their money know your name.
What you don't want is to build that from a cold start, burning evenings on lists while you wait for a pipeline to appear. Bath/Brunswick is open, and Northern Alliance Financial is handing the right advisor a running start. We've built the part most advisors fight alone: attention. We're on Maine network TV and radio every week with Conquering Retirement. We run live workshops, publish to YouTube, and mail a newsletter that keeps retirement-minded households across the state paying attention to us. That education engine creates real, inbound interest — and in Bath/Brunswick, we need an advisor who can turn it into relationships and implement plans. This is a producing seat. You'll advise pre-retirees and retirees on retirement income, investment management, 401(k) rollovers, Social Security timing, asset preservation, and the insurance and annuity decisions that make a nest egg last — then coordinate with estate and CPA partners to finish the job. You'll do it on our SEC-registered RIA platform, with Schwab custody and Orion reporting, backed by a fiduciary, planning-first standard. The pay is top-tier and negotiable for the right person. We set a base around what you actually need, and you share in the revenue you generate from day one, dollar one: fee-based advisory plus commissions on the insurance and annuity business you write. Serious production gets paid like serious production. What you'll own
Establish:
become the advisor Midcoast Maine associates with Northern Alliance — in front of rooms, at workshops, and across the local referral network.
Convert:
run the first
  • and second-appointment process and move interested households from curiosity to implemented retirement plans.
Advise:
own retirement income, rollover, Social Security, and asset-preservation planning across fee-based and insurance and annuity solutions.
Follow up:
Work workshop attendees, referrals, and media-driven inquiries with the speed and discipline that actually close business. What you'll need Series 65/66 (or equivalent) An active life insurance license. A real producing track record — planning, retirement-income, or wealth conversations you've owned and closed, not just supported. Plain-English communication that earns trust with retirees and pre-retirees. Willingness to work the Bath/Brunswick market in person — client meetings, workshops, and a visible local presence. Bonus (but not required)
CFP, CFP
coursework, ChFC, RICP, CLU, or CFE. Retirement income, Medicare-adjacent, and estate/CPA coordination planning depth. A track record of converting firm-generated appointments, seminar attendees, or referrals. Midcoast Maine, coastal, or similar relationship-driven regional market experience. This isn't the seat for an advisor who wants a desk-bound portfolio-research role, who needs a guaranteed book or lead quota before they'll prospect, or who treats Bath/Brunswick as just another dot on the map. The model rewards planning depth and the willingness to ask for the business. If you'd rather own a market than wait for one — with a firm-built demand engine behind you — this is the seat. Bring the judgment; we'll bring the audience. Apply, and let's talk.
