The Financial Consultant will play a key role on the Optum Health, Optum Care SG&A Finance team leading a variety of FP&A functions, including budget/forecast/month end consolidation, financial and operational reporting, process improvements, and driving strong collaboration across the Optum Care SG&A team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Consolidating budget/forecast/month end reporting across the Optum Care Regions Lead the budget/forecast/month end reporting presentations to Senior SG&A Finance leadership Perform variance analysis across all periods of interest, identify and articulate trends and drivers Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing insights to leadership Demonstrate high degree of accountability Collaborate in matrix team environment as lead consolidator for the Optum Care SG&A team You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent field 3+ years of finance or related experience Proficiency in
MS Excel Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft Financials Power BI PowerPoint/Adobe PDF Solid interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented; solid organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities, deadlines and changing priorities Possess initiative, be a self-starter, self-directed, highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
