Description:
The Senior Financial Planner is responsible for delivering personalized financial planning and exceptional client service to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals. This role partners closely with clients, advisors, and internal teams to develop customized financial plans, manage ongoing relationships, and provide a high-touch, consultative experience. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients navigate complex financial decisions. Key Responsibilities Prepare for and lead client meetings Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information Develop customized financial plans, insurance illustrations, and financial scenarios Communicate investment recommendations in collaboration with advisory teams Track planning milestones and follow up on action items Deliver proactive client service and ongoing relationship management Manage client onboarding and support ongoing service needs Maintain accurate records in CRM and financial planning systems Respond to client inquiries and provide trusted financial guidance Cultivate client relationships through thoughtful engagement and referral development
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of financial planning or related experience Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required CFP designation preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience within the financial services and insurance industry preferred Familiarity with CRM and financial planning software (Salesforce, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar) Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills High attention to detail and organizational abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook Professional, proactive, and adaptable approach to client service Commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance
