Position General Responsibilities:

The Lead Planner works directly with Wealth Advisors to deliver financial planning services to clients and prospective clients. Typical plans include a balance sheet, cash flow analysis, net worth growth strategies, retirement planning, tax planning, insurance analysis, lending options, mortgage strategies, Social Security filing strategies, estate planning and long-term care analysis. The Lead Planner is client facing and is involved in data gathering, plan preparation, client service, attends planning meetings, and collaborates with Wealth Advisors, lenders, CPAs, attorneys, and insurance agents.

Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and CompetenciesNote:

Financial Planning:

Work as a team with Wealth Advisors to gather, organize, and review client financial dataInput data into financial planning software, summarize and present initial findingsWork as a team with Wealth Advisors to execute the Financial Planning Process to include data gathering, analysis, recommendations, and the client experience.

Lead planning meetings (Discovery, Initial Analysis, and Plan Presentation), including managing material preparation, navigating planning software while presenting, and addressing client questions and concerns.

Prepare client deliverables.

Regularly consult with the Director of Financial Planning and present all data entry, initial findings, summaries, and deliverables for review and approval prior to dissemination to client.

Provide financial planning consulting to both clients and Wealth Advisors through financial planning education.

Support Wealth Advisors efforts to generate new business and pursue referrals with financial planning services.
