Job summary -

Assistant Advisor:

As an Assistant Advisor, you will have the opportunity for continued professional growth, the ability to leverage your accounting background without the demands of busy season, and most importantly the chance to make a difference in the lives of clients. In this role, you will support Family CFOs/Lead Advisors across investment management, tax planning, estate strategy, and comprehensive financial planning. Responsibilities include assisting in client meetings; conducting technical research related to investments, tax, and financial planning strategies; and helping communicate recommendations to clients. You will also play a key role in preparing for meetings, managing follow-up tasks, and ensuring action items are completed. Additionally, the Assistant Advisor collaborates with Prairiewood's CPAs on client tax return preparation and review and may contribute to the development of technical content used in marketing and client education. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and analytical skills, is detail-oriented, and is motivated to help clients achieve their financial goals. This position offers a clear path toward becoming a Family CFO/Lead Advisor and is well-suited for candidates with 2+ years of CPA experience.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has 2-5 years of financial or accounting experience. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Individuals applying must have a

CPA/CFP/CFA

designation (or willingness to obtain it). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts. Proficiency with Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
