Job Description

Join our sales origination team where you will support the primary sales manager for specific accounts. As a Senior Associate - Sales Origination within Trade & Working Capital, you will support client engagements to identify and address needs through Trade & Working Capital solutions, contributing to successful sales outcomes. You'll assist in client account planning, market execution, and help coordinate between Trade & Working Capital and its clients. Working closely with senior team members, you will help support client targeting and relationship building, while contributing to new business development through financial analysis and idea preparation for client discussions. Trade & Working Capital (T&WC) is a strategic growth business within Payments. The line of business structures and executes both Core Trade and Structured Working Capital solutions for clients. Products/Structures include Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Sales Finance, Inventory Finance, Export Agency Finance, Letters of Credit, Trade Loans, and Bills of Exchange / Promissory Notes.
Job Responsibilities:
Partner with Commercial Banking teams to support engagements with clients to identify opportunities for Trade & Working Capital solutions, especially Receivables and Supply Chain Finance, contributing to sales outcomes and client value optimization Support the execution of structured off balance sheet facilities, coordinating with clients, credit, risk, legal, middle office, and product management Assist in client account planning and go-to-market execution, including coordination with Product partners, Commercial Bankers, Payment Sales, and Investment Bank Client Executives Act as a key point of contact supporting communication between Trade & Working Capital and its clients, ensuring alignment across functions for sales opportunities Contribute to business development efforts by preparing analyses and supporting pitch materials for client discussions with executives such as CFOs, Treasurers, and CPOs Monitor client needs and market trends, escalating insights and contributing ideas to support the T&WC innovation agenda Required qualifications, skills and capabilities: 3+ years of Sales, Relationship Management, or relevant financial services experience Foundational knowledge of the Trade and Working Capital Finance product set, including Receivables Finance and Supply Chain Finance Experience supporting client relationships, with an understanding of key decision makers, business objectives, and client needs Ability to build effective partnerships with internal stakeholders, including bankers and product partners Understanding of how clients utilize products and the ability to identify value-added solutions
